Ghana April Update

Another Exciting Month in Ghana…

April has been a wonderful month full of the blessings of the Lord. The weeks were full of the usual work; teaching at ACTS on Tuesday and Thursday and GATS work on Wednesday and Friday. Here is a rundown of the highlights from this month.

April 3 – I preached in Koatababi for Rev. Green. We had a wonderful service rejoicing in the hope of Heaven.
April 5 – I had the privilege of sitting in on the ACTS Committee meeting to see how a Bible College is run ‘behind the scenes.’
April 10 – I traveled to the village of Swedru with the Sisco family. We had a wonderful service with four receiving the Holy Ghost.
April 17 – I preached in La for Rev. Asare. The worship was beautiful and God filled three people with the Holy Ghost.
April 24 – I preached in Madina for Rev. Prempeh on Easter Sunday. I preached “What the Resurrection Means for You” and two people were filled with the Holy Ghost! Praise God!

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support! We give God the glory for all of the great things that He has done. I am blessed to play my small part.

Ghana Update 3.21.11

Look!

God is moving in a mighty way here in Ghana! To all of my friends and family who made this trip possible, Thank You! Here are a few highlights from the last several weeks.

During regular services, a total of 182 were baptized in Jesus’ name and 135 received the baptism of the Holy Spirit including a father-in-law of one of the Presbyters.
A new church was started in March and ten were baptized in Jesus’ name and four received the baptism of the Holy Spirit so far.
A new church plant has twenty-five in attendance and fifteen have already been baptized in Jesus’ name.
A new preaching point was established.
A pastor and his family from another organization have been baptized in Jesus’ name.
A Youth Camp Meeting had 500 in attendance.
Twenty-two were baptized in Jesus’ name and eighteen received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Revival is here! This is just the beginning!

Mac is Back!

Hello, Friends! I have wonderful news! Mac is back! And all of my sentences in in exclamation marks!

I hope to begin updating much more regularly: pictures, videos, and I may even try writing again (it’s been a while).

For now, I am trying to dig myself out of the hole that not having a computer for six weeks has created. Enjoy a couple more pictures for now.

I preached at a small church in a place called Akweteman last Sunday. Wonderful people. Beautiful worship. Great God!

Two received the Holy Ghost for the 1st time!

Ghana Update

God is blessing in Ghana! I thank all of you who have been lifting us up in your prayers. Several of you have emailed me recently to encourage me and I cannot express how much it means to me! We are going into the third week of classes at the Bible College and I am preaching on Sunday mornings on a regular basis (see pictures and praise reports below). Translation: I’m staying busy! Please continue to pray for us!

I was privileged to be with Rev. Green two Sundays ago. We had a wonderful move of God and three people received the Holy Ghost!

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to visit a church in Kaforidua, a city about an hour and a half outside of the capital. This congregation of thrity or so meets in a round hut-style building. We had a wonderful service and thank God that He filled two more with the Holy Ghost!
