Book Review: Love Does by Bob Goff

Love is spontaneous. Love acts. Love does.

Bob Goff has lived on of the most interesting lives that I have ever read about. It certainly hasn’t been an accident that he has experience some adventures that most will never know. He has opened his home to a stranger to make a wedding proposal. He has flown to far away lands with his children to meet foreign dignitaries. He has been instrumental in the liberty of children caught in the terrible bonds of slavery.

All because of love.

Mr. Goff has had an interesting life and lived to tell about it because he has acted on love when others would chose to play it safe. He has taken risks that most would not be comfortable with and as a result, he has created beautiful memories with important life lessons.

In Love Does he shares some of these lessons. The chapters are short, easy to read, and very interesting. While I do not agree with all of Mr. Goff’s theology, I did find a lot wonderful little nuggets in this book and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to live life with a little more adventure.
