This is by one of the most profound and life-altering books I’ve ever read in my life. Thank you for the summary. The key point is understanding the relationship with slave/master. We were bought with a hefty price – the very blood of Christ. What is amazing is how we find true freedom in slavery in Christ. That’s amazing. Here’s another post that complements yours. Thank you!

At the end of the day there are many verses that you could use for and against. Often times however Christians are lazy and want God to do it all for them or use “His will” to shift blame and avoid responsibility for their short-comings. We are called not only to be co-heirs with Christ, but also co-workers with Him.

Thank you for the review, I love the ideas and wanted to see what others thought. I am very much like you, I love lists and goal setting, but do my best to keep within what I believe (though being fallible, I may have missed the mark) God’s plan is for me.
